We currently specialize in both producing and processing quality food products, primarily meats which we Farm Direct Market straight to local consumers.

Stan and Bonnie Wickberg are at the helm of WS Foods. We recognized a trend in the growing number of consumers who are seeking to know where their food comes from, how it is made, and who the people are who produce it. We understand why this appeals to consumers because it aligns with our own core values. The simpler things in life like dealing with people you know and trust. With that comes confidence, responsibility, authenticity, supporting  local economies, and strengthening community ties. Our leading mission is to consistently produce excellent customer satisfaction and quality food products at competitive prices while using effective, responsible practices. More specifically that means providing nutritious, delicious, affordable food for our family and yours. We believe that having more control over the processes involved from pasture­-to-plate is the most sure path to successfully accomplishing our mission.    

This is why the focus has shifted recently for WS Foods, with the vison for the company going in a promising direction. Previously WS Foods’ primary business was complete turnkey Industrial Camps and Catering. The groceries and food catering aspect of this business is what has employed the butcher shop and has been a successful endeavor. With vast experience, Stan’s entrepreneurial drive combined with his love for the farm lifestyle has merged into this agripeneurial opportunity. Motivation arises readily because we are enthusiastic about what we do. Ability is a function of the time we have spent honing this venture.  WS Foods is the result of determination, persistence, proficiency, and relentless hard work, to provide added value to our customers beyond the farm production.  Our comprehensive provincially licensed and inspected butcher shop facility is the key to achieving our mission, so that is why it has been upgraded and maintained.
